The County Trip: Finalized Map May 9th, 2006 at 10:11pm

Here’s our finalized map for the trip (we leave in two days!), starting from Boulder in the middle and traveling clockwise. Some of the points aren’t actually county seats, but stops I needed to put in so that Yahoo Maps didn’t think the shortest route was over an impassable trail (e.g. from Steamboat Springs to Walden). We’re also stopping at the Sand Dunes.

[Edit by Dan:]

Here is a bigger version of the map.
It’s quite huge, but you can see with more detail where we’ll be going. We’re moving around the route in a generally clockwise direction. Ignore the letters, they don’t really mean anything. We’ll also be posting a smaller daily map, so you can see how far we’ve made it.

We leave in 5 hours. Yay!

This looks so fun Nick (except for the sleeping on the ground thing!) It makes me homesick. I’ll follow along. Please wave at Littleton for me. Good Luck and have fun! Susanne
